What has been the number one challenge that has impacted you over the past year?

The current world´s economy has been impacting in an important way how the tax administrations have been working and handling themselves towards taxpayers. Additionally, OCDE efforts to digitalise tax administration’s in developing countries has intensified abruptly tax audits, information requirements and legal judicial process all over our region. Our biggest challenge, as one of the biggest taxpayers of the region, is to surpass successfully such situation and come abroad in the best way which tax administration in which we operate.

In which ways have you attempted to bring the legal department closer to your business colleagues?

Working as one not only with the finance team is a day-to-day activity when working in tax matters. Every team member contributes in a special and valuable way which is essential to obtain a favourable outcome on each process.
