During the past year, what are you and your teams’ proudest accomplishments?

The company achieved tremendous growth and met critical milestones in the past year. This included building our first vehicle, completing ground tests, and signing a multi-year contract with the government to mature our hypersonic aircraft technology. My role is to enable this transformation and ensure the company’s long-term interests remain protected, such as by implementing a comprehensive intellectual property strategy.

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

Enhancing enterprise risk management is our top priority. Risk is a competitive advantage when it is properly managed. Another priority is to grow the legal team so we can continue to meet the business’s needs.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I serve as the VP of community engagement for the Georgia chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. My goal this year is to increase pro bono engagement. Another initiative is coordinating an internship program, which exposes law students to in-house practice and increases diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the legal profession. I am also paying it forward by serving as an advisor at Atlanta Tech Village. The energy and vision of the entrepreneurs inspire me, and I hope to help them succeed.
