What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Our group has been very active with new investments over the last couple of years.

Last year, we made two significant acquisitions. We worked with all business streams to harmoniously integrate these companies with our existing businesses. This required a lot of time and great effort, but we have finally successfully completed them.

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

Our top priority is to always perform our legal business and transactions in compliance with the law.

As we enter a new era surrounded by technology and AI, with increased regulations affecting almost all business units, “compliance” has become more important than ever before. Antitrust compliance, sanctions compliance, and data protection compliance are always on our strategic priority list.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

Having spent more than 24 years in the legal profession, I have encountered many challenges, disappointments, as well as successes in my career. I have had the privilege to work with very valuable businesspeople. However, I have realised that some challenges would have been less painful if I had been coached or mentored during difficult times. With this idea in mind, I became a certified coach and mentor. I now engage in coaching and mentoring for women, particularly those in the legal field, to help them realise their potential and become aware of their competencies. Women are very strong, and they should be more active in business life!
