Spotlight on: My career

Alessandro Tomao is executive vice president and general counsel at Banco Santander Brasil. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from FMU University and a master’s degree in business administration – HR, from the University of São Paulo. As one of our executive vice presidents, he has been responsible for the company’s legal and corporate affairs department since February 2018. From June 2010 to February 2018, he was the head of the legal litigation, legal consulting in labour and pension funds departments at Santander Brasil. From 2000 to 2010, he served as head of the labour and pension funds legal department at Banco Itaú S.A. Since January 2020, he has been executive director of FEBRABAN. As of 2019, he is also a member of the board of directors at CACEIS.
