What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?

Find the best solution aiming at the business purpose and not necessarily doing the activity of the demand; being able to assess the business needs and legal solutions, on a timely manner. The in-house lawyer works as a translator from business to law firms and from law from to business, understanding if the proposed solution offered is aligned with the bigger picture.

How have you fostered a closer collaboration between the legal department and your business counterparts?

Knowing the departments and providing opinions when relevant, holding meeting a to keep the areas up to date and making the team available, with quick answers and solutions.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I am passionate into development of women in business. I do as much as I can to enable careers development and to act as a role model to show that we can be mothers and have a successful career.
