Bio

Daniela is the South America regional general counsel for Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation. Over the years, Daniela built the SAM legal team from a disparate team of five lawyers to a regional team of 17 people across five countries. Career developed through hands-on experience in industrial company, carrying out consulting and litigation in different areas of law, developing legal solutions to enable and to increase business results. In charge of the local legal aspects related to several M&A projects across the region, including the implementation of a post-acquisition integration. Focus on contracts, issues on legal opinions, negotiation of several deals, management of lawsuits, and advising on the company’s compliance programme.
