First, can you please give us an idea of the sort of work your team has done recently?

Recent work by my team included two major M&A transactions: on the buy-side, the acquisition of Rico-Group, and on the sell-side, the divestment of the gloves business. Both transactions were completed within one month and have substantially transformed the Semperit Group.

In addition, we have introduced a contract management system that will provide a consistent overview of contracts throughout the group – the first time in its 200-year history. 

Furthermore, Group Legal has also consistently worked to implement and improve our Contract Guideline, a unique combination of defining which legal documents require mandatory checks by the legal department, along with a set of ‘dos and do nots’ for non-legal colleagues in the business who are entrusted with contracting.
