What are the most significant cases and transactions that you have recently been involved in?  

The sales of ExxonMobil interest in Esso Thailand (2023), resulting in the change of shareholder in Esso Thailand from ExxonMobil to Bangchak Corporation. 

How do you see the general counsel role evolving in Thailand over the next five-ten years? 

I think the role of general counsel is not only limited to legal related matters these days. As a general counsel is also a part of the management team, they will play a crucial role in setting company strategy and implementing the same. As the world is evolving and there is a variety of technology in place, general counsel will also have to adapt and keep up with the new development, think of innovative ways to help the business to achieve the goals. 

How do you motivate and manage your legal team well? 

I do this by being transparent, showing genuine care, active listening and providing support to them as needed.
