Gail is the director of legal and group secretary at CIC Insurance Group, a position she took on in May 2024. Reporting to the group managing director and CEO, she leads the legal team, overseeing all legal matters, including strategic planning, risk management, and corporate governance. Gail provides essential legal advice to senior management and the board, manages board functions, and handles litigation, regulatory compliance, and external legal counsel. 

Previously, she served as group company secretary and chief legal officer from January 2013, where she led corporate strategy and managed the legal functions across subsidiaries in Mauritius, Malawi, Uganda, and South Sudan. Notable achievements include chairing the sustainability committee, raising share capital, and implementing a contract management system.
