Agnes Tibayeita Isharaza leads the legal team as the head of legal and company secretary at the Development Finance Company of Uganda Bank (dfcu). She joined the dfcu group legal department in June 2001 as an assistant legal officer and was subsequently appointed as legal officer, first serving dfcu Bank and thereafter dfcu Leasing Company Limited.

While serving as the legal officer responsible for leasing, she gained invaluable experience in insurance and leasing law which she has utilised to richen her pool of knowledge in financial legal affairs as a whole. As a result of this exposure, she was instrumental in the setting up of the Uganda Leasing Association which she also later served as executive secretary.

She was subsequently appointed, senior legal officer of registration and safe custody, a role she held until March 2006. Isharaza has an Executive MBA from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI).
