Described as a ‘high profile lawyer’ with ‘high analytical skills’, Amandine Decoux provides full support to a wide variety of energy projects at Nareva Holding, a Moroccan energy company and full subsidiary of Société Nationale d’Investissement (SNI).
The company’s wind farm projects include units in Akhfennir, Haouma and Foum El Oued, each selling electricity directly to industrial clients, as well as its Tarfaya 300 MW installation sells electricity to national electricity firm ONEE, as part of a venture with GDF Suez. Decoux has also provided legal support to the construction of a coal-powered electricity generation unit in Safi, which is set to sell electricity to ONEE.
In addition to her role at Nareva, since September 2016 Decoux has served as a vice-president at CMDJ, an organisation representing corporate lawyers in Morocco. For the first nine years of her professional career, she worked as a private practice lawyer at UGGC & Associates, Simmons & Simmons and Jones Day.
