Based in Mauritius, Aruna Radhakeesoon is the executive director, chief legal executive and company secretary at Rogers & Co, a listed international services and investment company established in 1899. A transactional lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in the group and well-versed in mergers and acquisitions, Radhakeesoon was nominating during the research process in part due to her ‘extensive experience of board practices, corporate governance, FSC and stock market requirements’ and her ability to ‘grow people and inspire teams successfully’.

Enjoying a long tenure at Rogers – which she first joined in 2001 as a project analyst – she was appointed as the group company secretary and promoted to chief legal executive in 2007, achieving the pathway towards the higher management of the company rapidly. She is a registered Solicitor of England and Wales (NP) and Attorney-at-law in Mauritius, as well as a two-year articleship with Sinclair, Roche and Temperley, a solicitors’ firm in the City of London.
