Dapo Otunla has been a highly successful component of the in-house legal function of Notore Chemical Industries in Nigeria for almost a decade, and has spearheaded a number of successful projects as general counsel during this time. Prior to this, he had a highly creditable private practice career at a number of notable firms; he practiced with Peabody & Arnold, McKee Nelson King & Spalding and Mayer Brown between 2000 and 2008. He chose to make the move to the in-house legal department of Notore Chemical Industries subsequent to the latter, and has not looked back.

Over the course of the next nine years, he has undertaken a number of important innovations at this leading African agro-business companies. His expertise in cross border negotiations, in particular in regards to joint ventures, has been consistently excellent, as has his showing in corporate law generally.
