Group chief legal counsel and company secretary | Dangote Cement
Dangote Cement is a subsidiary of Dangote Industries, which was founded in 1981 as a trading business with an initial focus on importation of bagged cement and other commodities such as rice, sugar, flour, salt and fish.
Leading its legal department, Mahmud Kazaure joined Dangote Cement in 2011 and has been noticed for his broad and stand-out legal experience within commercial law, international business, civil litigation as well as contractual and legislative drafting.
With a range of international experience, Kazaure is licenced to practice law in Nigeria, in the states of Maryland and New York and previously in the Supreme Court of the United States. He achieved his master of Laws degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington.
