General Counsel | Chevron
Award-winning in-house counsel Ned Mojuetan’s landmark moments at the world-leading oil and gas company have included negotiating Chevron’s first deepwater block, the West African Gas Pipeline and the Gorgon Project....
An oil and gas legal specialist, Ned Mojuetan has been working with oil giant Chevron since 2012. The esteem in which his expertise is held by this premiere international company is marked by the fact that he took on an expanded role in July 2017, and is now general counsel for Africa and Latin America.
Prior to this, he was general counsel for Nigeria during an important period for the company in an energy-rich and thus strategic location for Chevron. Mojuetan is a joint venture specialist, as much of his work was involved with organising these agreements with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, the state entity tasked with regulating oil extraction in the country. Among others, the country operates the Agbami Field, one of Nigeria’s largest oil deposits.
