Uaboi Agbebaku started his legal career in 1995 when he joined the Lagos based law firm David Garrick & Co. Following a seven year career in private practice, Agbebaku joined Nigerian Breweries, the largest Nigerian brewing company and one of the largest organisations overall in Africa, to work as a legal affairs manager in the legal department. In 2008, he was invited to assume control of the entire legal function of the company and has served as a secretary and legal advisor since.

Notable career features for Agbebaku over this period include launching the international cider brand Strongbow in Nigeria, the first cider to be produced in the country, as well as signing a significant advertising deal to sponsor the 2016/17 UEFA Champions league. Agbebaku has also been instrumental to developing company-wide trust in his legal team, which now actively contributes to strategic matters at the decision making level of the company.
