Nigeria-based Stanbic IBTC is an end-to-end financial services holding company with subsidiaries operating in banking, stock brokerage and investment advisory. The holding was formed as a result of the merger of Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited and IBTC Chartered Bank in 2007.
Comprised of highly experienced financial lawyers, Stanbic IBTC’s in-house legal department is responsible for supporting the bank during the launch of innovative new products and undertaking of ambitious projects across its vast portfolio of services. Operating in a highly regulated, complex and high risk environment from a legal standpoint, the team has managed to impress with its forward-looking approach to handling complex legal work and deep understanding of Nigeria’s financial world.
