The legal department of GE Africa is an expert force within the energy and utilities industry across Sub-Saharan Africa, with a long history of excellence across the region in the electric manufacturing industry as well as aviation, healthcare, and capital. Adesua Dozie, general counsel for GE Africa, leads the in-house legal team in legal strategy, joint ventures, legal drafting, employment and commercial legal matters for the company across the continent. GE raises revenues of around US$7.3bn in Africa and covers 25 countries with a focus on Nigeria, South Africa, Angola, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Kenya. It is involved with infrastructure projects and other public work with governments and local companies across the region to further the provision of energy, healthcare and transport in Africa.
