One of Argentina’s truly standout counsel, Esteban Mazzucco has led the Latin America South (LAS) legal function at Swiss-headquartered global agribusiness Syngenta since 2011. He also sits as a member of the Syngenta LAS leadership team and contributes to strategic and commercial decisions at the company. In 2010, when the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) announced it would be establishing an Argentina chapter (also the ACC’s first Latin America chapter), Mazzucco was appointed president. At the time he was international senior corporate counsel of multinational consumer goods manufacturer and distributor The Clorox Company, where he served as regional counsel for both Latin American and Europe. His extensive experience at leading multinational companies includes advising on cross-border M&A, global compliance and regulatory affairs and intellectual property matters.
