Patricio Pablo Rojo
General counsel | Globant
Since becoming general counsel at the Argentinian IT and software company Globant in 2013, Patricio Pablo Rojo has contributed to the company’s rapid growth and expansion into new markets, including providing legal support to its initial public offering (IPO) in New York in 2014 – the first IPO by a Latin American company on the New York Stock Exchange. Driven by a growing demand for digital services and its attraction rate for customers in diversified sectors, Globant has established a solid presence in developed markets, deriving approximately 90% of its revenues from North America and Europe. A lawyer with a good understanding of business and a flair for innovation, Pablo Rojo has been a vital part of Globant’s strategy to offer “digital journeys” for its clients, moving away from a model of a traditional software business to that of an innovator in digital services. In particular, he is known for his contribution to several corporate transactions conducted by Globant globally, including the acquisition of the London based digital services firm WAE in 2016. Previously, Pablo Rojo accumulated over a decade of experience in private practice at the firms Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, PwC and Baker McKenzie.
