Having worked at the Argentinian pharmaceutical company Roemmers for 16 years, Rosario Mazzei has been involved with many of the company’s transactions over the years and has been a driving force behind its recent acquisitions. In 2016 Mazzei took part in the acquisition of Spefar based in Uruguay, an important step in positioning the company as a leading player in several pharmaceuticals markets. Mazzei has also contributed to Roemmers’ expansion in Latin America by securing regulatory approvals for new products in a timely fashion. Supporting the activities of Roemmers’ subsidiaries in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, Mazzei has showcased an aptitude in adapting to changes and swings in the political and economic situation of its key markets, fostering a culture of unity within the company that has helped immensely in alleviating crisis situations.
