Josefina Hernández Gazcón is a highly experienced corporate lawyer, described by nominators as a ‘heterogeneous professional that has developed her areas of expertise in each of the positions in which she has worked’. Hernández has acquired strong legal experience in advising corporate clients while working as a lawyer at two different law firms in Argentina and she then continued her career deepening her business skills as an internal counsel in large, renowned multinational companies. Throughout her career she has required substantial experience in commercial, corporate and M&A issues, as well as in providing sophisticated advice to internal clients. Prior to this role she worked as a director of legal affairs for biotechnology company Biosidus, where she oversaw legal matters of the business in more than 30 countries through different contractual matters. She previously served as the legal affairs manager for the Latin American South region for agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation Monsanto, where she was in charge of supporting the business of corn and sorghum amongst others.
