What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

We acquired five companies in the last two years — Viajes Falabella in Argentina, Best Day in Mexico, Koin, Stays and Viajanet in Brazil.

Additionally, we dealt with all the legal issues during the pandemic that affected the travel industry and especially in Latin America.

Do you use any “legal tech” products and do you find them a helpful management device?

We use an internal legal system.

How much influence do you, as a general counsel, have on the diversity and inclusions policies of your organisation?

A substantial influence. I helped with the implementation of diversity and inclusion policy. Also, as a compliance officer I deal with training in the subject.
