What will be the main focus for the company in the next 12 months and how do you intend to assist with this?

Chubb is committed to continue being a leader in the global insurance and reinsurance market, by always conducting business in a consistent, disciplined and focused manner. Chubb is focused on its clients and will continue working in the process of understanding their risks and giving solutions to them. As the company’s general counsel, I plan to assist the company by giving legal advice in relation to the different lines of business, analysing the legal risks of said operations and looking for feasible alternatives that allow Chubb to provide the best services to our clients.

How much influence do you, as a general counsel, have on the diversity and inclusions policies of your organisation?

Although the company’s diversity and inclusion policies are developed by the compliance team, my contribution consists in the daily revision of the enactment of legislation in relation to this matter, in order to detect the need to implement new policies or make changes to the existing one. Likewise, I analyse the execution and observation of said policies, making sure that the company continues with its mission of recognising differences and promoting inclusion in the workplace.
