It has accomplished this by piloting several compliance initiatives in 3M Argentina before they are subsequently implemented in other subsidiaries of 3M around the world.
The team has significantly improved the level of communication between departments, working closely with senior management to lead efforts to implement a strategic business plan with the input of the legal and compliance functions. This has resulted in considerable reductions in claims against 3M and demonstrates its positive contribution to the company.
