Coca-Cola FEMSA was set up in Argentina in October 1991, with Coca-Cola FEMSA de Buenos Aires being acquired by the company later in 1997. Coca-Cola FEMSA is the largest franchise bottler of Coca-Cola products in the world and one of the leading brewers in the international beer industry. Reflecting this dynamic profile, the company’s Argentine legal team take on the wide-ranging responsibility of advising on all legal matters and external affairs of the organisation. Led by head of legal and corporate affairs, Federico Verdier, the team assist on disputes, bank and intercompany loans, M&As, commercial contracts and overseeing negotiations with suppliers and customers.
Amongst some of its leading personnel is legal and corporate relationships director Germán Guillermo Pennimpede who brings his experience attained in previously held positions with a number of leading Latin American law firms.
