Global transport and logistics company Kuehne + Nagel has more than 1,300 offices in 108 countries with more than 70,000 employees. Supporting its Argentina based operations, the Kuehne + Nagel Argentina legal team participates in the upkeep of the company’s affairs in the entire South and Central America region. The department manages and participates in acquisitions and a wide variety of commercial, litigation and compliance issues throughout South and Central America, providing advice to the regional CEO and vice presidents of each of the business units across the region. Outside its regional legal remit, the team also provides reporting to corporate headquarters in Switzerland and coordinates alignment of strategy on legal and compliance issues throughout the region.

Some of the team’s leading members include regional general counsel, legal and compliance South and Central America Nicolas Schuster, and legal and compliance manager for the South Cone cluster, María Sol Santi. The team has also led the roll-out of compliance programs, including integrity due diligence on suppliers of almost all the countries of the region where Kuehne + Nagel provides services, code of conduct trainings and other management processes.
