PepsiCo Argentina has been present in the regional market for almost 60 years, and currently has a broad portfolio of food and beverage products such as Pepsi, Gatorade, Lay’s and Twistos. The company operates 15 sales branches, five distribution centres and a network of distributors reaching approximately 200,000 points of sale throughout the country.
Despite such a wide geographic reach, the company employs a relatively small legal team in Argentina, which has nonetheless shown to be more than capable of dealing with a plethora of legal and compliance issues quickly and effectively. The team is led by highly praised corporate counsel Diego Cifone, described by sources as a ‘great motivator’, as well as a lawyer capable of ‘quickly spreading enthusiasm in achieving goals’ and ‘encouraging improvement on a day-by-day basis’.
