Commonly referred to as Disney, The Walt Disney Company founded its Argentina operation in 1990. Today its legal team in the country is represented by a number of outstanding in-house lawyers. At the helm of the talented department is director and regional counsel Augusto Mengelle.

He is supported in the role by regional director Laura Canessa, and associate principal counsel Federico Pagliettini, while senior lawyer Lucia Druetta has played an important role since joining in 2014. With Disney running a number of channels and owning a film production group in the country, a primary focus of the team is contract-related. It has also been credited for effortlessly overseeing the implementation of the parent organisation’s global deals in the region.
