During the past year, what are you and your teams’ proudest accomplishments?   
 
In 2023, the company opened a flagship showroom in New York City. I led the efforts to ensure that the showroom met all relevant regulations, city ordinances, and legal requirements, and that everything was in place for the grand opening in June 2023. This was a multi-disciplinary project involving real estate, regulatory, and general corporate law issues. In addition to this project, I handled the company’s ongoing legal issues, including franchise law, contract negotiation, labor and employment advice, cross-border topics involving Canada and Latin America, intellectual property issues, and managing litigation across The US.
 
What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?  
 
In 2024, we are focused on deepening our customer relationships, which includes an enhanced focus on customer service initiatives. We are dedicated to improving the quality of our dealership network, which involves deepening our relationships with our dealers and improving our franchise relationships. Additionally, we are committed to increasing sales in the region, aiming to make the Americas region the most successful globally. As a company, we have ambitious goals, and I look forward to supporting these goals with strategic legal guidance that will shape our ability to achieve them.  
 
Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, you are passionate about?  
 
I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of lawyers, and I do so through my work with law students at various law schools throughout the year as externs. I enjoy mentoring future lawyers and sharing with them the opportunities for career development and growth that exist in the legal profession. I believe in the motto of paying it forward, and I hope that I am able to give these law students guidance and advice that will help them in their careers and motivate them to do the same for future law students.
