Having joined the company in 2010, Christian Ainslie has served as group general counsel and company secretary for engineering and construction firm Clough for four years. He brings 15 years of experience in the oil and gas, construction and corporate legal sectors developed through his time at Clough and previous roles in private practice. Ainslie is responsible for governance and all legal matters pertaining to compliance, company secretarial duties and assurance. He is involved in the negotiation of contracts, dispute resolution and the development of corporate governance systems.
Clough, an Australian giant in the engineering, construction and oil and gas infrastructure industries has recently been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract with Alcoa at its Wagerup alumina refinery, and a similar contract to provide the non-process infrastructure for BHP’s South Flank Project. These projects and more, under the oversight of Ainslie, continue to solidify Clough in its position as one of Australia’s largest mining and oil and gas infrastructure engineering companies.
