Christopher Lang serves as PepsiCo’s senior legal director for the Asia Pacific region, having been with the global food conglomerate giant since 2011 moving from its Texas, US office to Sydney in 2016. PepsiCo in Australia and New Zealand market, distribute and sell many well-known brands such as the Smith’s Snackfood Company, Doritos corn chips, Nobby’s Nuts, Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew and many more.

Most recently, the company has been focused on reducing the calorie content of some of its products, producing health conscious warnings and following new regulations about labelling and advertising, showing a strong ethical outlook and awareness of the changing nature of markets. Lang, as the legal director, has been involved in this process at a strategic supervisory level and draws upon his previous experience at PepsiCo and in private practice in advertisement law, to provide guidance on these initiatives and other legal matters for the company across the Asia Pacific region.
