Craig Durham
Senior vice president, group general counsel and company secretary | Redflex
Craig Durham was appointed as group general counsel and company secretary of Redflex in February 2015, and was afforded the lead legal position at the vehicle monitoring and enforcement services provider thanks to a range of experience that has equipped him with legal nous, foresight and problem solving capabilities.
Nominated by sources due to his outstanding track record, Durham oversees the response to any risk issue brought to the company in its operations that span the development and manufacture of a wide range of digital photo enforcement products and systems, utilising advanced sensor and image capture technologies. Durham relies on experience and knowledge gained in a legal career that started upon his admittance to the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 1991, and he later was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1999. Durham has worked at national law firms Corrs Chambers Westgarth and King & Wood Mallesons (formerly Mallesons Stephen Jaques) and held senior legal and compliance roles at Foster’s Group in Melbourne and Treasury Wine Estates in California prior to joining Redflex.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the New York State Bar Association. Durham is currently working towards being admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York.
