Owned and controlled by around 4,200 Western Australian grain growers, CBH Group is Australia’s largest co-operative and a leader in the Australian grain industry. Since joining the organisation in 2003, David Woolfe has steadily expanded his role and currently sits as general manager of legal and risk with responsibility for the Group’s company secretarial, corporate governance, risk and legal functions. Throughout his 15-year tenure at CBH, Woolfe has worked on the Group’s landmark deals and projects gaining an extensive knowledge of its operations in the process. In 2016, he was credited for advising CBH on its acquisition of Blue Lake Milling, a leading manufacturer of premium Australian oat products in South Australia and Victoria. Having served this well-known Australian organisation in a prominent position for over 15 years, Woolfe is well respected amongst his peers in the country’s legal market.
