Rachel Lunn is the general counsel at Sonic Healthcare in the Sonic Clinical Services (SCS) business line and is responsible for legal advice delivery and performance across the SCS portfolio of companies. She brings with her extensive experience as an in-house lawyer and external counsel in private practice, and she is qualified in both the UK and in Australia having also been educated in both jurisdictions.

Prior to her time at Sonic Healthcare, she worked in private practice at an elite Australian law firm doing M&A and corporate advisory and worked on secondment with major Australian companies. SCS was created in 2015 to be the parent company of nine subsidiaries which each have a long history of providing diverse healthcare services across Australia. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare companies in Australia. SCS incorporates a wide portfolio of companies and services from medical clinics, laboratories, doctor’s surgeries through to occupational health and pathology.
