What has been the number one challenge that has impacted you over the past year?
In a very tight labour market across the globe, the number one challenge over the past has been human capital — attracting and retaining good people.
Looking forward, what technological advancements do you feel will impact the role of in-house legal teams in the future the most?
AI chatbots, with exponential development, will play an essential role in developing and shaping in-house legal teams and the way we work going forward.
What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?
For a lawyer to be successful in-house, I am of the view that it is critical to have strong EQ and influencing skills.
