Embarking upon her fourth general counsel role, Claire Miller is rated for her operational understanding, ‘leadership’ and ‘communicative, collaborative and inclusive management and work style’. Charged with a comprehensive remit, she is currently tasked with the restructuring, developing and implementing legal, compliance, governance, and internal audit and risk services across Jacana Energy. A former state president and national director of the Australian Corporate Lawyers’ Association, she is a widely known and respected voice within the nation’s legal community. During her time at what is now Brookfield Rail and ATCO Gas, she established legal, compliance, audit, insurance, company secretarial and risk functions from scratch. Her past roles also include GC and company secretary at leading US property business JLL.
