Heading legal and governance at one of Australia’s largest banks, Nathan Butler’s impressive transactional experience spans Asia Pacific, Europe and the US. He has provided strategic, board-level advice on some of the Bank’s most transformational transactions of recent years. He was appointed director of its US subsidiary Great Western Bancorp in 2014, reflecting his central involvement in wider business operations. Butler previously practised at Clayton Utz, where he reached senior associate level. After the research phase was completed, Nathan Butler resigned as company secretary with effect from February 10th 2016.
