Founded in Australia, Beyond International is an international television and film production company with operations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and the United States. Having joined the company in 2002, the current general manager of legal and business affairs, Peter Tehan, has a wide-ranging background in various aspects of the law including corporate, commercial, media and entertainment and intellectual property fields. Within the legal team, Tehan is assisted by the company’s legal and business affairs executives who possess vast knowledge of the legal and business environment that affects the whole media industry. Legal and business affairs executive Louisa Vickers joined Beyond in 2012 and is an experienced intellectual property, information technology and entertainment lawyer taking care of the company’s production division. Other notable members include Mandy Chapman who has been at Beyond since 2011; Linn Wredström who has in-house experience guiding the Australian Government on film and television financing and Gillian Clyde, an experienced film, television, broadcast, media and entertainment lawyer. In 2015 the team played an important role helping Beyond enter into a local licencing agreement with Netflix, the American entertainment company specialising in the provision of streaming media and video-on-demand services.
