Part of the global PepsiCo Group, PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand employs over 2,500 staff and operates through four business units: The Smith’s Snackfood Company, The Quaker Oats Company, PepsiCo Beverages and Bluebird Food. The company’s legal team is headed by senior director and chief legal counsel Christopher Lang, who has been in his current role since 2016 after first joining the company in 2011, successfully handling employment and marketing law matters. Lang is supported by a highly functional team that includes Asia Pacific legal director Lili Dent, an experienced and commercially focussed lawyer with over six years in-house experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Dent provides legal support on product portfolio matters, transformation projects and global procurement matters spanning across the Asia Pacific region and is responsible for being the legal lead and managing the drafting and negotiation of large procurement matters involving multiple countries. Senior legal counsel Lily Wong is another important member of the legal function who supports the strategic and transformational projects covering functions across the business such as procurement, sales and marketing, operations and human resources. Other notable team members include legal counsels Erin Hulm who has 14 years of experience in the legal profession and Dannica Alston who recently joined after six years at Australian law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
