Spotlight on… 

We as legal team have successfully closed various M&A transactions in our core markets, particularly in Austria and Spain. Additionally, many renewable green field projects are under development, which is an enormous task encountering many difficulties like complex and fast changing legal framework or numerous NGOs opposing the projects. In general, the energy sector currently faces a very dynamic and highly unpredictable phase, not only because of the Russian invasion and attacks on global supply chains, but also because of the radical efforts of implementing the “Green Deal” (substitution of air polluting power plants). AI or legal tech products are becoming key tools to ease workflows or standardized documents, but unfortunately cannot solve the actual fundamental problems yet.
