Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?
Our practice area established key accounts — legal counsel— who know and support key customers, thanks to a deep knowledge of the contractual history and the customer. Our Group is spread around the globe, and we work closely with the other parts of the legal department located in different jurisdictions, sharing the work between relevant members and considering each lawyer’s workload, experience and qualifications. In addition to that, we use the mentoring system, and more generally, we share our experiences with all team members through regular meetings and calls to be all on the same page. This helps us maintain a high support level, saving time, resources and expenses.
Apart from legal matters, has the team worked on other company initiatives?
Compliance, diversity, ethics, corporate social responsibility and ESG are the global company policies applied within all Group companies. The members of our practice area are highly contributing to implementing and enforcing the relevant policies. Along with legal matters, many team members work on relevant matters for the company, such as compliance (including sanctions compliance).
