Crédit Agricole CIB is headquartered in Belgium and provides Benelux based companies with financing, capital markets and investment banking operations. A key part of the company’s legal division and support is local head of compliance and legal, Aurore Versele who acts as a local coordinator for legal issues of the finance institution. Versele also assists CA-CIB Belgium’s management to manage non-compliance risks of the bank and to ensure all operations comply with applicable local regulations and head office directives. She assists with advising on the international business solutions, supporting the company in managing its international operations by providing legal expertise and regulatory advice on the local environments and banking services abroad. Prior to joining Crédit Agricole CIB, she was in private practice at Delwaide Avocats and prior to that she served as the project manager at managing consulting company, FrahanBlondé. She also worked as a junior associate, with a focus on cross border tax M&A at Deloitte Luxembourg.
