Eva Erauw is an experienced lawyer in the hospitality sector, with vast understanding of both international law firms and in-house legal departments. Having worked for the likes of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and The Rezidor Hotel Group, Erauw has become proficient in working at a senior management level including collaboration with c-level executives. Erauw started her in-house career with an 11 year tenure at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, initially as vice president legal and then assuming additional responsibilities as EAME chief privacy officer in 2016. This role involved her managing a team consisting of a lawyer and paralegal and with responsibilities for overseeing development and operational matters in Starwood’s Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) division. During her role she was the lead counsel in the mergers and acquisitions team on a variety of both new development deals and re-ups of existing deals in the division. After this role she joined The Rezidor Hotel Group as senior vice president and general counsel for one year. Prior to going in-house, Erauw served as an associate for six years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
