AG Insurance is a Belgian insurance company providing life insurance and non-life insurance as well as supplementary pensions. Martine Meulemans journey with AG Insurance started 35 years ago when she joined the Belgian insurance company in the capacity of claims manager claims liability – bodily injuries. Over the years she has evolved and taken on a mix of roles within the legal domain of the company including advising on HR legal services, marketing mortgage loans and heading corporate law and consumer protection units. As the current head of legal, Meulemans has collated over 10 years’ experience in people management and abundant experience in general corporate matters, competition law, commercial law, insurance law, e-business, privacy and contracts. She has had involvement in major projects during her years at AG Insurance within the areas of consumer protection and other related legal services that support the groups €60bn of financial assets.
