Zoran Milovanovic is responsible for two teams within the Société Générale Bank & Trust legal department, supervising the structured finance activities in a wide range of areas. Having served as the head of the legal department for the French multinational investment bank, for the last seven years, Milovanovic has advised on a number of important contracts, deposit structures, brokerage contracts, pledge agreement and facility and loan agreements. Part of his job involves maintaining strong communication with regulatory authorities and partaking in regular follow-up on topics such as EMIR, MIFID II, PRIPS, FATCA, Dodd Frank Act, SFTR and BRRD. Prior to his current role he worked as senior legal advisor for investment management firm, Candriam in Paris for four years, and before this he served as a legal advisor for BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking, also in Paris. Milovanovic has two Masters’ qualifications; one attained from the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in law, banking, business, finance and securities law and the other from the Graduate School of Management in management tax and business law.
