Can you tell us a little about your most significant accomplishments and projects, as a team or by yourself in your role, recently?

The company has thrived with great resilience and strength through the events of force majeure that began in our country since October 2019. Moments of great political and social turbulence and uncertainty occurred due to a civil strike and city lockdown that lasted 21 days and ended with the resignation of the President of the State, Evo Morales.

Farmacorp’s Legal Team has supported all the activities carried out during these challenging times and, above all, has provided a 24/7 legal service on a variety of issues with the highest standards. Not only was it possible to maintain the pharmaceutical service, but records were also broken in the opening of new branches.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about and why?

I passionately believe in the multiplying effect of kindness. Above all things, a person must be of a good heart; a person’s actions must be the reflection of their beliefs. Being a person of integrity and accountability is necessary and non-negotiable; when a person can focus and master this, the multiplying effect will impact everyone. It is the little things that add up to a better world.

How is your legal team planning to contribute to the growth and expansion of your organisation, over the next few months?

We are fortunate to work in a very dynamic company. No day is boring or the same as another, so supporting the challenges that a company faces in Bolivia makes us vigilant and on top of legal and political changes.
