What are the most significant cases and transactions you have been involved in recently?

One of the most important transactions in which I had the privilege of participating has been advising and structuring the largest syndicated loan ever granted in Bolivia, to this day. In this operation, BCP Bolivia was the agent bank, and I had the task of leading the legal team, negotiating with the client’s legal team, preparing the respective contracts and all coordinated steps, which led to their signing.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?

Having a significant role at the bank, to internal and external clients, providing specialized legal advice and convenient alternative solutions so that products and services can be delivered quickly and correctly. In addition, having a role in strategic planning, its objectives and legal policies.

What will the main focus of your company be over the next few months and how do you intend to assist with this?

BCP Bolivia seeks to be the first option for clients interested in Bolivia’s financial system, for which its purpose is to provide opportunities to fulfill dreams, build a future, and contribute to the development of Bolivia.

At the legal department, we are fully engaged in fulfilling the bank’s objectives and goals, always looking for the best talent, and focused on adapting to current trends that have undoubtedly been changing the traditional role of an in-house lawyer in the banking sector.
