What are some of the key developments that have affected your business over the past year?
Undoubtedly, adapting, as far as possible, the tasks and procedures of the legal area to agile methodologies, technological innovations, and efficient and effective processes, so we can continue to contribute to the fulfilment of the organisation’s objectives and goals, and provide viable alternative solutions at all times.
How do you think the internal legal role will evolve in the coming years?
I believe that the role of in-house lawyers must undoubtedly adapt to the new reality we are already facing, which is characterised by the need for more automated, robotised, and agile processes that improve the efficiency of organisations. Consequently, this inevitably means that legal advisors, in addition to the necessary technical legal knowledge, must also acquire other types of skills and knowledge in line with this new environment.
Do you use any legal technology products and, if so, for what areas of your work do you find them most useful?
We currently have tools to monitor contracting processes as well as judicial and administrative processes.
