Natalia Dalenz is a corporate lawyer with a focus on new technologies. As a result of her inclination for the subject, Natalia has led the new technologies practice for Bolivia, providing advice, within an international law firm. Currently, she teaches postgraduate courses in Technology and Finance (Fintech) at la Universidad Católica Boliviana and is a full-time lawyer at Sociedad Boliviana de Cemento.
Within her work within the community, she currently collaborates with Fundaciòn Internet Bolivia, promoting digital rights by generating knowledge, drafting laws, and promoting good practices, with the aim of building a more equitable digital society. Throughout her tenure as curator, she had the opportunity to lead a group of twenty people within the organisation and the projects they carried out. As part of her role, Natalia has coordinated a variety of projects focused on promoting education, reforesting a landfill, donating water filters to communities without access to clean water, supporting start-ups through training, among others. In recognition of her work in this organisation, she was invited to participate in a Women’s Leadership Campus by Fundación Konrad Adenauer, which took place in June 2022.
She has also served as curator of the Global Shapers Hub La Paz, a community of young leaders that belongs to the World Economic Forum. She is a regular speaker and lecturer on topics related to law and technology. Additionally, Natalia was recently invited to a high-level panel organised by the Inter-American Development Bank to give a talk to emerging women entrepreneurs related to new technologies. She also spoken at an international conference on digital rights at the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos. As part of her academic development, she is interested in writing articles in academic journals on new technologies.
